CAC Cincinnati

About This Location

Fairey's murals are all in celebration for his show in the Contemporary Arts Center Cincinnati. Located on 6th Street, just a block north from Fountain Square, is first free-standing building for the CAC. The CAC was founded in 1939 as one of the first U.S. institutions dedicated to contemporary art.

About the Show

The show spans two full floors of the CAC. It contains approximately 250 pieces of Fairey's work spanning the last twenty years of his career.

Be sure to note the huge site-specific murals that have been installed in the lobby. Another highlight is his now-famous Obama HOPE poster located on the lower floor of the show.

Admission to the CAC is $7.50. Note that the CAC is closed on Tuesdays and is free after 5pm on Monday. More information available here.
